OUR LEADERSHIP

Rooted in faith and called by God, Founder and Senior Pastor Larry H. Long has dedicated his life to drawing people closer to the Kingdom of God. Raised in a family deeply planted in ministry — including his father, Reverend Floyd Long Sr., his brothers Elder Floyd Long Jr., Bishop Eddie L. Long, and Pastor Joseph Long — Pastor Long's calling was not chosen by chance, but by divine design. Ministry is not simply what he does; it is who he is.

On March 3, 2019, Pastor Long boldly answered that calling, founding New Birth Kingdom Ministry (NBKM) — a church built on love, purpose, and the unwavering pursuit of God. Though his foundation is not built on seminary walls or academic credentials, it is firmly anchored in a lifelong walk with the Lord and a heritage of faith that has shaped every step of his journey.

At the heart of Pastor Long's ministry is a passionate charge to the people of God: seek Him with everything you have. He carries a burning desire to strengthen the family unit, sow into the lives of others, and create spaces where people can grow, heal, and thrive. His ministry reflects the very words of Christ in Matthew 4:19 — "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men" — as NBKM exists to love God wholeheartedly, love thy neighbor as thyself, and actively draw souls into the Kingdom.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Long enjoys everyday moments like playing his guitar and fellowshipping with others over a good meal — because for him, community is built one table at a time.

Pastor Long is faithfully supported by his devoted wife and partner in ministry, First Lady Sandra D. Long. Together, they are blessed with six children, and after nearly 50 years of marriage, their love story stands as a living testament that in every season of life, God is always the answer.
